A practical starting point is to space poles roughly 3 to 4 times the mounting height apart, then let the photometric layout confirm coverage. Uniformity matters more than peak brightness here — aim for an average-to-minimum ratio around 3:1 or 4:1 so there are no dark gaps between poles. Place poles to cover drive aisles and pedestrian routes, add light at entrances and pay stations, and use full-cutoff fixtures to limit glare and light trespass onto neighboring property.
