Coffee Measurement Chart

Not sure how many scoops of coffee to use? This chart converts the number of cups into tablespoons and grams of ground coffee, based on the standard ratio.

Cups (6 oz) Coffee (tbsp) Coffee (grams)
1 cup 2 tbsp 11 g
2 cups 4 tbsp 21 g
4 cups 8 tbsp 42 g
6 cups 12 tbsp 64 g
8 cups 16 tbsp 85 g
10 cups 20 tbsp 106 g
12 cups 24 tbsp 127 g
One scoop equals two tablespoons. A standard coffee scoop holds about 2 tablespoons, or roughly 10 to 11 g. A coffee maker cup is 6 oz, not the 8 oz measuring cup, so a 12-cup pot uses about 24 tablespoons.
