Water is based on each method typical ratio. Adjust the dose to scale the whole brew.
How it works
Each method has a typical coffee-to-water ratio and contact time. The calculator multiplies your dose by that ratio for the water amount, then shows the grind, total brew time, and bloom for the method.
Method sets the rules. Faster methods like espresso need a finer grind; slower ones like cold brew need a coarse grind. The brew time follows the method, not the dose.
