FAQ
What is the difference between an expression and an equation?
An expression is a combination of numbers and variables with no equals sign; an equation states that two expressions are equal.
What is the difference between a factor and a multiple?
A factor divides a number exactly; a multiple is the result of multiplying a number by an integer. So 3 is a factor of 12, and 12 is a multiple of 3.
