| APV | Low-cost constant voltage strip |
Reading the suffixes
Mean Well encodes features in the part number. A trailing B usually means 0-10V or PWM dimming, AB adds dim-to-off, and D2 indicates DALI-2 control.
The HLG family is the workhorse for outdoor and high-power fixtures, with rugged IP-rated housings and adjustable output.

About Mean Well LED drivers
Mean Well is one of the largest power-supply makers, offering a famously broad, value-focused catalog of LED drivers for nearly every application — indoor and outdoor, constant-current and constant-voltage, dimmable and non-dimmable. Their appeal is range and availability at competitive prices, which is why Mean Well drivers turn up in everything from sign lighting to industrial fixtures. Selecting one follows the universal rules: output current must match the LED array, the voltage range must cover the load’s forward voltage, and wattage must meet or exceed the load with some headroom. For wet locations confirm the IP rating; for dimming, match the protocol (0–10V, PWM, DALI, or phase) to your controls.
