7075 is a high-strength aerospace aluminum, stronger than 6061 but still very machinable. Treat it like 6061 with a slightly lighter touch: high surface speeds, sharp tools, and good chip clearing.

Tooling and tips
- 2–3 flute, uncoated or ZrN carbide, high helix.
- Flood or mist coolant to flush chips and prevent built-up edge.
- Stronger than 6061, so ease off the very top feeds; otherwise machine it the same way.
