Budget a window replacement project. Pick a material for a typical installed price, set the count and install type, and get an estimated total with a planning range. Every figure is editable for your own quote.
Usage Tip
Get three written quotes that itemize unit, labor, disposal, and trim. Full-frame replacement costs more but is the right call when frames are rotted or you are changing the opening size.
Total = Number of windows × Per window
Planning range = Total × 0.8 to Total × 1.2
Not included by default: removal and disposal (often $300 to $500 total), permits, interior trim or drywall repair, and oversize or custom-shape windows (which can add 30% to 80% per unit).
Old frame condition is the biggest wildcard — rotted sills or non-standard sizes can push a job well above these figures.
